Documents: Contract details revealed for Steve Ensminger, new football assistants; LSU proposing one-year extension for Alan Dunn

Contract details for LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger and LSU’s three new assistants were made public this week through the LSU Board of Supervisors agenda. All of the new deals are expected to be approved by the board at its meeting Friday.

Ensminger received a three-year deal that will pay him $800,000 in conjunction with his promotion to offensive coordinator. That’s a 47 percent decrease from the $1.5 million earned by his predecessor, Matt Canada, whose separation agreement is also on the board agenda for Friday.

New offensive line coach Jame Cregg will make $475,000 and is receiving a three-year contract. New special teams coordinator Greg McMahon also got a three-year deal and will make $375,000. Senior passing game coordinator Jerry Sullivan is signing on for a two-year deal that’ll pay him $450,000 per.

Also on the board agenda is a proposed one-year extension for LSU pitching coach Alan Dunn. The proposed extension doesn’t include a raise from his $300,000 salary, but the deal with now run through Aug. 31, 2020 instead of 2019.
