Tiger Rag is the Bible of LSU Sports. Operated as an independent print and on-line publication by Louisiana Sports Network, Inc. dba Tiger Rag, a wholly owned Subsidiary of The Louisiana Network, LLC, Tiger Rag employs writers, graphic artists and photographers to cover LSU sports with the excellence that has brought over three decades of success. Tiger Rag has stood the test of time publishing its first edition in August 1978 with great LSU running backs Billy Cannon and Charles Alexander gracing the cover. Tiger Rag has covered the tenures of 10 LSU head football coaches, two BCS National Championships and five SEC Championships.
Tiger Rag Magazine is published on the following schedule: (Weekly) second week of January, August, September, October and November, (Biweekly) February, March and April, (Monthly) May, June, July and December.
Published 30 times annually, a subscription to Tiger Rag includes three yearbooks dedicated to football, basketball and baseball/softball. Also, special issues are dedicated to National Signing Day, Golf, Spring Recruiting, the Year in Review and the Bowl Preview.

Ben Love

A Red Stick native and graduate of Catholic High School, Ben Love returned to Baton Rouge in early 2008 following a year-long tenure living in Houston and working in outdoor sales. Prior to that, he spent four years studying International Business and Spanish at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. Before joining Tiger Rag, Ben served as the features editor for InRegister, Baton Rouge’s premier social magazine, for more than 18 months. He was part of a staff there recently presented the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter, Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Board of Directors Award for 2009. In his spare time, you’ll find him doing the same thing he does on the job: following sports. And if football’s not on the tube, that just means he turned the channel to basketball.

Carl Dubois spent 25 years writing sports and human interest stories for daily newspapers. He covered LSU from 1999-2008 for The Advocate in Baton Rouge and became the first print reporter to blog for the newspaper, launching a highly popular LSU baseball blog. He began his career at the American Press in his hometown of Lake Charles n 1983, covering high schools before moving to the McNeese State beat. He spent 1998 and more than half of ‘99 at The Times in Shreveport, writing features and covering high school, college and pro sports. Carl has won more than 60 writing awards. Before coming to Tiger Rag, he spent more than a year doing freelance writing and editing for nearly a dozen publications. He’s a fan of “Seinfeld,” “The Office,” “Dexter” and Monty Python reruns and records, and any type of art (music, film, books, etc.) that tells a compelling story.

Dawn Dicharry joined the Tiger Rag team in May 2007. A native of Baton Rouge, she is a 1993 graduate of Broadmoor High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. Involved in the print production business for nine years, she has worked in both sports and social genres. Before coming to Tiger Rag, she served as operations manager for Baton Rouge’s premiere social magazine – InRegister. Married to husband Dale for 12 years, she enjoys shopping, a good bottle of wine, spending time with family and friends and never misses a chance to visit the Wine Country in northern California.

Joe Gallinaro joined the Tiger Rag Team in August of 2009. After traveling the world as an Army brat, his family settled in Hammond where he graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in 1991. A 1995 graduate of LSU, Gallinaro worked in a variety of genres, most recently as a graphic designer with The Advocate of Baton Rouge. When he’s not trying to keep his young daughter out of the cookie jar, Joe enjoys reading comic books, pursuing artistic endeavors and (of course) watching any and all football available to him, especially LSU.
