Miles expects Hebert to re-join team
Center has “fulfilled his end,” according to head coach
As Tiger Rag first reported early Friday afternoon, LSU Coach Les Miles has announced center T-Bob Hebert will be welcomed back on the team in the near future.
Said Miles directly after he addressed the mass media Friday, Hebert “has fulfilled his end of the discipline and we anticipate him re-joining our team.”
Hebert was suspended indefinitely in early May after his part in a drunk driving arrest.
Miles also indicated Hebert should be “100%” in the health department (he suffered a broken leg in the spring) by season’s beginning.
At present time, Hebert is slated to backup starting center P.J. Lonergan. Hebert did start 11 games at center a season ago and was part of every offensive snap though LSU’s first seven games of 2009.
