Several weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to track down Coach Wilson to interview him for the 2010 Tiger Rag Football Preview (available beginning Aug. 10).

Today, Tiger Rag has a portion of that interview to run to fill your Web-based needs.

During the six-minute clip, Wilson shares his thoughts on a number of topics, from moving back home to his native Louisiana to coming together with two other new coaches on offense (Steve Ensminger and Billy Gonzales) to getting acquainted with the running backs which return in ‘10.

One thing to bear in mind: This interview was conducted several weeks before it was announced fullback Dominique Allen was indefinitely suspended from the team.

I know of a no more highly focus college football fans,in this country, then that go to see the LSU fighting tiger play in tiger stadium.
I do not buy what the out of state sports writers have been saying “that the LSU fans have been unfair with Les Miles, seance he has been coaching LSU.
Nick Saban was a recruiting machine, and in reality, left LSU with a very good running college football train..Those sports writers are way off base, to blame the LSU football problems on the tiger fans..Who ever became the LSU head football coach back then, was given the lucky chance, to be a top of the line head football coach, for many years to come.We all know what has happened in between then and now.
I do not need to fill in the blanks, this story is clear…You ether win,and keep this winning tiger train running, or get off the train, there is no politics involved now,the talking is over.
Beat North Carolina, or become a Hobo.

Don’t look like coach Miles will become a hobo with $14,000,000 in his pocket when he leaves LSU. Ha!

Got something to say?
