SEC Media Days are now in the rearview, but Tiger Rag has one treat left over from the festivities in Hoover, Ala.: an interview with LSU middle linebacker Kelvin Sheppard.

Sheppard, like Jordan Jefferson and Patrick Peterson, was impressive at the media bonanza, handling a wide range of questions. From agent contact to playing in his first season without high school and college teammate Perry Riley, no topic was too big for Sheppard.

He started off discussing his selection to the All-SEC preseason first team, then moved onto the team taking on a different role this year as one that’s flying under the radar or maybe even underdogs in certain circumstances.

Sheppard would go onto give his take on agents and how to resist any temptations (this includes a great moment of self-deprecating humor from No. 11) and finally dives into matters on the field, sharing his thoughts on fellow linebackers Ryan Baker, Stefoin Francois and Kevin Minter.
