Coach Les Miles not only picked up another win on Saturday night, but on Sunday afternoon, according to Rivals.com, he also picked up the Tigers’ 19th commitment for the class of 2009 in Dominique Allen.
Paris (Tenn.) Henry County High fullback was in Baton Rouge for Saturday’s Troy game. Sunday, he made his pledge to LSU official.
Allen, the No. 5 ranked fullback by Rivals.com, had originally committed to Tennessee earlier in the year before deciding to re-open his recruitment. Allen claimed the firing of Vols’ Head Coach Phillip Fulmer played no role in his decision to decommit, but obviously it did not help matters either.
Early playing time and the game day atmosphere surrounding Tiger Stadium were the biggest factors leading into the 5-foot-11, 235-pound monster’s decision to select LSU as his future home.
There is no question the Henry County High School product has the size and the ability to come in a play right away.

i think that this year football team will be number 1!!!
allen, we look forward to seeing you on the field with the tigers
