Breaux Bridge DL chooses LSU, is 10th commitment in Class of ‘11

According to numerous reports, Breaux Bridge defensive lineman Quentin Thomas (6-3, 265) gave LSU his verbal commitment on Monday evening.

Thomas, an explosive player with speed on the defensive front, has been recruited by Brick Haley, LSU’s D-Line coach.

He was also offered a scholarship by Texas A&M. To date, those are the only two schools to offer the rising senior.

Thomas is now the 10th player on LSU’s commitment list for 2011, and he’s the ninth of those 10 from the state of Louisiana.

Of the ten to pledge to the Tigers, the wealth is spread pretty evenly amongst positions and between offense and defense. LSU has gained commitments from two running backs, two receivers, two defensive linemen, two offensive linemen, a linebacker and one player more generically listed as an all-around athlete.

Class of 2011 commitments

OL La’El Collins (Redemptorist HS)

RB Jeremy Hill (Redemptorist HS)

RB Kenny Hilliard (Patterson HS)

DL Anthony Johnson (O. Perry Walker HS)

WR Alonzo Lewis (St. James HS)

ATH Terrance Magee (Franklinton HS)

We must go play the game with what we have… Pray, throw bones, rub rabbet foots,or cross our fingers?
Lets get behind our team and help them win?

    So,

With all of the doom n gloom about QB, I predict that QB will not be our problem.

Scrimmage play does not necessarily represent game play potential…

So many things must be taken into consideration… the entire session was about proving to ourselves that we will run the ball next season…

    Joel

Got something to say?
