Analyst breaks down Jefferson’s passing at the Manning Camp

By RICHARD FISCHER
Tiger Rag Assistant Editor

College football analyst Mike Detillier joined Jeff Palermo and Ben Love Tiger Rag Radio Tuesday night.

Detillier was in attendance at the Manning Passing Academy this past weekend, and the analyst told us how well LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson threw the football in Thibodaux.

Former SEC quarterback and current ESPN analyst Jesse Palmer was extremely high on Jefferson’s passing, and Detillier tells Tiger Rag Radio why Palmer is the perfect person to speak on Jefferson’s career after what he went through at Florida.

Which nationally-renowned quarterbacks did Jefferson stack up to while throwing against air this weekend?

Detillier speaks about the positive differences new offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe may be presenting to Jefferson.

Finally, what can the team around Jefferson do that Detillier thinks is critical to Jefferson’s success in 2011?

yeah, yeah, yeah–all JJ is going to do is not perform ”in the game” practice? apparently JJ always practices well! it is very likely that JJ will cost us the oregon game. after that it will all be a mess with everyone confused about JJ! there is a replacement on the bench who might work ? but there is no doubt that JJ will be the starting QB? the question is how long will it take before Les gives up on JJ? and how many games will it take for the team to adjust to the new QB?

Got something to say?
