Ealier this week Jeff Palermo and I had the chance to sit down for an interview on Tiger Rag Radio with Doug Moreau, former Tiger gridiron great and current football color analyst for the LSU Sports Radio Network.
In the 10-minute Q & A (link below) Moreau shared his thoughts on the upcoming LSU football season, giving his theory on why there’s so much excitement heading into 2011. He also touched on the fact that with the national championship once again in New Orleans, Tiger fans may have visions of 2003 and 2007 dancing in their heads.
Moreau went on to discuss the impact that first-year offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe will have on senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson and why former O.C. Gary Crowton never quite worked out in Baton Rouge.
Finally, the LSU football analyst gave his take on who he feels is the biggest difference-maker defensively for the Bayou Bengals. Here’s a hint: He plays in the secondary.
