Lindy’s Magazine Editor talks LSU and SEC football with TR Radio

By RICHARD FISCHER
Tiger Rag Assistant Editor

Lyn Scarbrough of Lindy’s Magazine joined Jeff Palermo and Ben Love on Tiger Rag Radio Tuesday night.

The 2011 Lindy’s Football Preview hits newsstands around the country this week.

Lindy’s editor tells Tiger Rag Radio why he feels Jordan Jefferson can have a solid senior year under center for the Tigers, and why he thinks the Bayou Bengals should be able to handle Oregon in the season-opening game.

Looking forward to the rest of LSU’s schedule, where could the Tigers be falling into trap games along the way?

Last year, the West dominated the East in SEC matchups. Does Scarbrough think we’ll see much of the same this year, or will things even themselves out in 2011?

Finally, the editor defends Lindy’s decision to place Auburn in the top-25 even though the War Eagles face quite a bit of attrition and an extremely difficult schedule this season.

A good block, a pass, a tackle, and the game will be on.
Will that ability be enough to beat Oregon. We will see.
Sporting News seems to think so.
And I am going to be there with a lot of you.
My best wishes will be with the LSU football players.
And does this 2011 tiger football team have the strength, and the speed,to win that game.
You bet your buttons, they do.
And will Jordon Jefferson play better at Quarterback on this LSU tiger football
team…You & me will know for sure on September 3,7:00 PM, Cowboy Stadium,Arlington Texas.

Got something to say?
